AVI to KVCD II
Here, the first thing that we must do is to download ACP and TmpgEnc and to install them, I will explain with TmpgEnc 2.5 version to them.
Once both softwares were installed, we opened ACP and from now on I explain them that to do: When you open the software the first that will appear will be a screen like the following picture, with the button open video in a vcd sreen, we will look for the movie that we want to convert in the folder where we kept it after compressing it with Nandub , now we will indicate down at the left where it says output size , the number of CD 's that we will need and the time of duration, in my case, I do not put over 120 minutes into 700 MB's CD for which we will indicate 1 CD although the CD come for 700 MB we will indicate 800 MB.
Now we go to the video setting sreen and we copy the values as they are in the right-hand figure.
In the audio settings screen we only have to change the side of dynamic compression where it says light for heavy .
In the paths screen where it says tmpeg path with the button open at the right side we must select the executable file of tmpgenc in the directory where we installed it (generally it is in C:\program files\ tmpg \ tmpgenc) and next we click save path, with this it will be kept for ever.
Next, in the same screen path in output directory with open we looked for the directory where we want the film to be kept, that can be the same where we compressed it with Nandub , next we go back to the screen vcd and down, at the right we give start , with this the conversion should start and last for some hours, it will turn on and will close several programs until at the end it will leave us several files at the folder should begin, and the one that we will should record with Nero will be some named video00, that it is the biggest created.
The first thing will be to open Nero Burning ROM, in the column of the left hand we must select Video CD next we should unselect the option Create Standard compliant CD and in Encoding resolution we should choose PAL or NTSC , I always choose NTSC that is my zone
next we choose new and a screen like the following will appear to us
In it, in the right-hand column, under the name Name we have to look for the file created with ACP in the directory that should be a name like video00 , we take it with our left hand mouse button and drag it along to the first column of the left hand, it will do a process and when it finishes we click burn , the icon where the CD appears with the match.
And that would be all, we should have our first KVCD to be seen in the DVD device.
I will explain to you how to record a SVCD that is a format of a better quality but that normally we will need to record in 2 CD's (next)
