Next we moved to the following option of the left-hand side that is connection, here what's important is to be aware of the port used for incoming connections , if we are behind a Firewall or we got connected through a router, we will have to configure them so as not to have blocked this port , later on I will explain you as I open my router's ports in order that you have an idea, but as the several models change, the best would be looking for information of the specific model that you have.
In order to be able to confirm if this port is really open, after having closed the screen of "preferences", you will have to come over "Option" in the program's menu, next click in Network Assistant and you will arrive to this screen ...

Here, the first thing that we should do is selecti the kind of connection that we have, if you do not know which is your speed, you will be able to click in the bar that says "Executing test of velocity in: www.dslreports.com" and there we will be able to access different sites in which we can check it. Once we have filled the kind of connection, in the bar where it says "to Check If the port is open" we click, and it will open in the explorer a page to us where indicate if the port is open or closed, in the case of being closed, we should check the configuration of the Firewall and the the Router. Once confirmed that we do not have problems at the port, we activate "To Activate Encryption" for a better secutiry, and then we click "To Use Selected Configuration"....Next we continue with the option BiTorrent to the left side of preferences, here we leave everything the same ... and we continue with the option "In Cola" like it shows in the next image ...

Here, in "opciones de cola"we should indicate the download and upload quantity it is always good leaving the first option double than the second one as it indicate the figure ... from now on we start the option "Planning", that as we activate it, it will show us the following screen ...

This option serves to plan our bandwidth according to the day of the week and the hour for us, giving a click inside a square it changes over to soft green, with it we limited the velocity to what we specify in the Planner's preferences, giving another click to the same square the connection will stop at that day and hour, giving another click to the same square it will go back to the dark green color and this will indicate than in that time interval the connection will not have limits.
This is a good option when we worked at a network, or we navegate habitually, since Utorrent consumes plenty of bandwidth, for which to download or sending files our connection will be slower to us.
Now the options that we have in "Preferences" will be "Others" and "advanced", and in this case we will leave them as they are, since they do not have influence too much in the performance of the program. (next)
