Subtitles

In my case, in order to search and to download the subtitles I use the page Subdivx , which generally provides me all of the spanish subtitles that I need. Rarely I have not found one in this page and I have had to look for them in Internet in some search engine by the name of the film and adding it subtitle . In order to be able to download the subtitles from Subdivx, you need to be registered, the truth it is an easy step in the process, free, and you will realize that it will be a good resource when you subtitle.. When you enter the name of the movie, he will display a list of alternatives among all of the subtitles raised for it you will first of all notice the number of CD 's that they are done, if it is 1 or 2, and according to the version than you download, that will be the one that suits the purpose, then, within the subtitles adapted to the quantity of CD that correspond, you will have to search if some subtitle exists that it agrees to the origin of the file of the film, for example in the following file casanova.telecine.svcd septic.tar the identification is septic , if you find some subtitle according to the number of CD 's that you download and with this identification, more than likely than when you use it, it already will be synchronizedly for the movie. (if you don't find one with the identification you will have to try the others that are suitable to CD's number)
In order to check the taken down subtitles or for to synchronize subtitles I utilize the program Subtitle Workshop that it is free, and that you will be able to find in a seeker for his name and adding the word download .
Now we will check the basic in respect of this program and some forms to be able to synchronize the subtitles.

Once the Subtitle Workshop software is opened we click File in the menu, and next Load subtitle , and then we will look for the folder where we extracted the download subtitle and we selected it.
With this, in the rectangle at the bottom of the screen the subtitles should be displayed.

Next we proceed to charge the film clicking Movie in the menu and next Open , we looked for the film in the corresponding folder and we accept it. Now we have the movie and subtitles charged, and we only need to verify if they are synchronized or not.

Once I have the subtitles and the film charged, and I begin to reproduce it, I notice the number in the counter when the first subtitled word is heard and I write down the corresponding number. Next I do the same thing with the last word and it asure that it correspond to the last word of the subtitles and again I write down the numbers that correspond to the counter.
In this case, the instant of the scene corresponds to number 00:58:21,539

Once I have the first number of the first word and the last number of the last word, I enter Edit , Timings Adjust , Adjust subtitles and a picture like the following will be displayed

In this picture I will write the initial number in the first box and the ending in the second box, next I will click Adjust! .
I try again and if there is any difference, I play with this box moving the arrows forward or backwards in each of the until I find the closest to the audio.
Once we achieved the synchronization we record the subtitle with the same name so we don't create new files (overwrite) .

Himself he supposes that we right now have the video file and the subtitle, here to keep on you should make click depending than what you want to make: KVCD, SVCD or DVD (next)
